Interview with patient and physiotherapist Ingo B.

Hi Ingo! Please introduce yourself briefly and tell us something about your job.

Hello, my name is Ingo, I'm 52 years old and I work as a physiotherapist. Before that, I was a goalkeeper and played in the second national soccer league. After a severe slipped disc, I had to end my career, which ultimately led me to become a physiotherapist.

What was your biggest problem or challenge that led you to approach FPZ?

After my operation, I was left with chronic back pain that I couldn't get under control despite my own physiotherapy measures. As a physiotherapist, I have a deep understanding of the biomechanics of the body, but even the back programs I initiated could not completely alleviate my pain. This was not only affecting my quality of life, but also my ability to do my job. A doctor friend then recommended the FPZ concept to me.

Why did you choose FPZ?

As a physiotherapist, I was naturally skeptical, but also curious. The FPZ Concept convinced me because it is based on a sound analysis and a clearly structured, long-term approach. It was not just another therapy, but a comprehensive program that was specifically tailored to my needs. It was particularly important to me that the training was consistently aimed at building and stabilizing the back muscles and that it was about sustainable improvement, not just short-term relief.

What did you particularly like about the therapy?

I was particularly impressed by the scientific basis of the programme and the individualization of the therapy. The regular adjustment of the training plan based on my performance development and the fact that the program also takes setbacks into account and offers strategies for quick recovery were crucial for me. It is this long-term, continuous training that makes the difference - similar to a bicycle tire that needs to be pumped up again and again in order to ride optimally over the cobblestones.

How satisfied are you with the result of the therapy?

I am very satisfied. The back pain has almost completely disappeared, and when setbacks do occur, they are much less intense and the recovery phase is shorter. My quality of life has improved enormously - I can move freely again without having to think about pain all the time. The program has shown me how important it is to stay on the ball consistently in order to maintain stable back muscles.

To whom and why would you recommend FPZ?

I recommend FPZ not only to my patients, but to anyone who is seriously interested in a long-term solution for their back problems. The concept is the best I know because it focuses on sustainability and actively involves patients in the process. For me as an athlete and therapist, it is the most convincing program because it is scientifically based and actually delivers results. It's not just a therapy, but a lifestyle that I can recommend to anyone who suffers from back pain.

Thank you for the great interview!
