„Regular training adjustments for long-term freedom from pain.“
Patient reports on her path to a pain-free life.
Interview with patient Carmen T.
Hello Carmen! Please introduce yourself briefly and tell us something about your professional activity.
My name is Carmen Thieme, I am 52 years old and work as a waitress. My job means I'm often on my feet for long periods of time, which has led to severe back pain over the years.
What was your biggest problem or challenge that led you to approach FPZ?
The back pain got worse and worse over the years. There were days when I could hardly move after work. I had tried all sorts of things - different therapies, exercises, but nothing seemed to help in the long term. At some point I reached a point where I thought I had to make a fundamental change or I wouldn't be able to do my job for much longer. Someone recommended FPZ to me and I thought it might be the solution I needed.
Why did you choose FPZ?
The recommendation came from a colleague who also had problems with his back. What really convinced me was the thorough initial analysis at FPZ. They showed me exactly where my muscular weaknesses were and how they related to my pain. It was the first time that I had been given such a clear and detailed explanation of what was wrong with my body. It gave me confidence that the program was really tailored to my individual needs.
What did you particularly like about the therapy?
I found it particularly helpful that the training was regularly reviewed and adapted. It wasn't a rigid program, but evolved as I progressed. Also, the support from the therapists was great - they were always there to support me and make sure I was doing the exercises correctly. This really helped me to stay motivated and follow through with the therapy.
How satisfied are you with the result of the therapy?
I am very satisfied. The back pain has almost disappeared and I can do my job again without having to think about my back all the time. It's particularly nice that I can move freely again in everyday life and during sport, without pain. The feeling of having control over my body again is just great.
To whom and why would you recommend FPZ?
I would recommend FPZ to anyone who really wants to change something about their condition, especially if other therapies have not brought the desired success. It's not just a treatment, but a concept that is completely tailored to individual needs. This personal support and the continuous adaptation of the training have made all the difference for me. It is definitely worth going down this path.
Thank you for the great conversation!
