The abdomen bulges forward, the shoulder blade backwards, the doctor and also the therapist recognize it at first glance. Both a hollow cross and a round spin are completely normal variations of the spine.
As a rule, the desk job as the 'archenemy of the healthy back' is not to blame either. Like all other variations of posture, neither the hollow cross nor the round back correlate with back pain - this means that there is no clear connection between posture and pain. So it would not be correct to speak of a 'wrong attitude'. On the contrary: the conviction of having a wrong posture even leads in most cases to an increase in back problems.
A clear cause of back pain, on the other hand, is the lack of exercise, as this leads to the weakening of the muscles and the decline in important coordination skills. The curved spine is also not a cause of tension, pain and discomfort in the medium term and does not predispose to a herniated disc. Exercise and targeted training, as with FPZ, help to prevent the decline of muscles and coordination skills or to rebuild and improve them. The correction of the posture in the direction of a 'norm' often leads to chronic back pain. A back-friendly life is an active life with many different movements. Therefore, it is better to start exercising well enough and training regularly early than late, better today than tomorrow.
